Bike and Packraft holiday on Lake Pusiano and along Adda river
Today’s experience leads us on the shores of Lake Pusiano, small but nice lagoon a few steps from Lecco and homonymous branch of lake. Purpose of our journey is to try an experience with a Tibetan Canoe, planned by Traccia Trekking, an organization focused mainly on intriguing experience with packraft. An exciting combination of bike and canoe holiday. This consists in a combination of bike tour along shores of Adda river and a canoe trip along the same river and Lake Pusiano. Today we test ourselves with the canoe.
Preparation of the canoe
The first step consists on the preparation of the boat that is being inflated in a few minutes by an ingenious bag-pump. Then, the bag will be used as a container for any items we bring with us to prevent them getting wet/damaged. Once assembled the paddles, arranged the bikes and put in order the cushions for the seat and support of the feet, we start our paddle under the expert guide of Paolo.
As we proceed along our trip we can admire the peaks of the Lecco mountains in the background. In particular the Grigne, historic and famous Larian peaks. We reach the Rogeno inlet. After a short break we return to our starting point. We have to admit that this bike and canoe holiday experience was extremely satisfying. Definitely worth trying again with the combination of bike and canoe.
