Golf holiday in the footsteps of myth of Jack Nicklaus

Gof holidays very close to Lake Maggiore

Vacanza golf Le Robinie

We’ve just left Malpensa Airport, the main hub for Lombardy and Northern Italy, and “Le Robinie Golf and Resort” entrance is already in sight. As soon as we pass beneath the majestic arch at the entrance, we already anticipate the start of our golf holidays in Lombardy. On the left, we can see the completely modernised accommodation structure of the Resort. Equipped with conference and meeting rooms, the Hotel has 246 large and welcoming rooms. What is particularly striking is the size of the queen-sized, American style, beds, which is on the distinctive traits of the entire complex.

The Resort

A few meters away from the structure, we reach the actual entrance to the Golf Course. Here, we find a well-stocked Golf Shop, the welcoming dining room with coffee bar and the well-equipped Fitness Centre with indoor swimming pool. From the restaurant we have a majestic view of the golf course and the recently built (2019) outdoor swimming pool. In this structure we also find very large bedroom apartments overlooking the green. Let’s imagine the pleasure of an aperitif at sunset on a summer evening to fully enjoy our extraordinary golf holidays surrounded by the majestic greenery of Lombardy.

The Golf Course

In addition to a comfortably accessible driving range, we will find an 8-hole pitch and putt course, all Par 3. A real golf course, for unforgettable golf holidays. The field is the only one in Italy designed by Jack Nicklaus, one of the greatest interpreters in the history of this sport. Its American trait is clearly visible in the design of the course path. Considerable height differences and constant bunkers. Hole 10 is located in front of the Resort, an intelligent solution which allows to start comfortably in the event of a player needing to complete the course starting from the second nine holes.

Lake Maggiore

By staying at Hotel Le Robinie, our golf holidays cannot fail to include a visit to Lake Maggiore, one of the most famous lake basins in Northern Italy characterized by a number of villages rich in history, tradition and culture. Arona and Angera cities with their famous Borromean fortresses are approximately half an hour drive from the resort.
